What to know

Holiday lighting cost depends on the size of your property and the design. Long rooflines and large tree wraps need more lights and labor than a simple entry. You buy and keep the LEDs in year one; later seasons cover installation, maintenance and takedown. Estimates are free.

How the pricing works

Your display is priced from two things: the size of the property and the complexity of the design. A single-story roofline with an entry accent is a small job; high rooflines, multiple peaks and large tree wraps take more material, more time and specialized equipment.

You own the lights. We buy commercial-grade LEDs cut to fit your roofline. Your first-year price includes the materials. In later seasons, you pay for installation, maintenance and takedown. There are no rental fees.

What moves the price up or down

  • Roofline length and height. Two-story rooflines and steep pitches take longer and need lift equipment.
  • Tree and shrub wraps. A mature tree takes more lights and installation time than a small shrub. Our crews have the climbing skills and equipment for tall trees.
  • Extras. Walkway and entry lighting, LED wreaths and pre-lit greenery add materials and installation time.
  • Commercial scope. HOAs, retail centers, restaurants and hotels are quoted on the same factors at a larger scale.
  • Storage. Optional off-season storage is available so the lights are ready next year.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Denver?

It depends on the size of the property and the complexity of the design. Because American Arbor Care buys commercial-grade LEDs on your behalf, year one includes materials you will own; later seasons cost significantly less because you pay only for labor, maintenance and takedown. Estimates are free.

Do I have to buy the lights?

We purchase commercial-grade LEDs for your home and you own them. They are brighter and more durable than big-box lights, cut to fit your roofline, and reusable every year with no rental fees.

When should I schedule?

Before the end of September if you want lights up before Thanksgiving. Calendars typically fill 6–8 weeks ahead.

Do you take the lights down?

Yes. Post-season takedown is part of the service, and off-season storage is available as an option.

Do you light trees as well as rooflines?

Yes. We install roofline and gutter lighting, tree and shrub wraps (including large mature trees), walkway and entry lighting, wreaths and greenery.

Do you do commercial holiday lighting?

Yes, for HOAs, apartment complexes, retail centers, restaurants and hotels.
